So sagte er entschlossen, dass er nicht der Posterboy für "Ignoranz und Gewalt“ sein wolle, sondern eher ein vorbildlicher Anarchist. "They trying to make me look like the poster boy for violence and ignorance," rief Cudi in die Crowd. "I tell motherfuckers I’m the poster boy for honesty, realness, anarchy, I don’t give a fuck about this business — I’m the truest motherfucker in this business and people trying to destroy me.“
Außerdem gab er zu verstehen, dass er teilweise von seinen alten Helden enttäuscht sei. Er nannte keine Namen, sprach aber davon, dass ihn einige Rapper"zerstören“ möchten.
"All these other niggas that y’all probably fans of is sucker ass niggas, I met them. Niggas I was a fan of when I was buying their CDs, I’m not a fan of they music no more. This business is WWF fam and if you don’t comply, they try to destroy you…I never talk shit, I came to this game, just wanted to smoke my weed and motherfuckers just wanna destroy me, I don’t give a fuck.“
Mit dieser DMX‚esken Ansprache untermauerte er noch einmal seinen Anspruch an sich selber: Unaufhaltsam sein! Mit diesem Satz beendete Cudi auch seine Predigt.

Neben dem Rap wird Cudi sich nun auch wieder seiner Schauspiel-Karriere widmen. In einem Interview verriet er einige Details über seine neue HBO-Serie "How To Make It In America“.
"But, I’m really excited about it, it’s a great story it’s kinda like the grind part of ‚Entourage.‘ It’s from the ground up, I mean these guys working five jobs and trying to be entrepreneurs and trying to be successful. It’s a great show, I can relate to that story because I came to New York and I knew I wanted to make it so it’s a topic that hits close to home with me so I’m just happy to be a part of it.“
