Was vor Monaten noch undenkbar gewesen wäre wurde wahr als Esco und Jigga in New Jersey auf dem "I declare War"-Konzert mit gutem Beispeil vorangingen und HipHop-Geschichte neu schrieben:

Denn Anlass haben sich darauf Mick Boogie und Joey Fingaz nicht nehmen lassen um den wiedervereinten Legenden Tribut zu zollen und uns das zu geben, wonach wir uns seit Jahren sehnen: Nasir Jones und Shawn Carter zusammen auf Albumlänge!
Das Mixtape, The Nas / Jay-Z Project: "God’s Gift", wurde dabei von God’s Son himself Nas gehostet!
Mick Boogie, der bereits für Pretox (das Tribute Mixtape für Dr. Dre) verantwortlich war und DJ Joey Fingaz (div. Nas, G-Unit, Shady Rec. etc. Mixtapes) brachten Kreativität und Kraft per excellence auf den Punkt. Damit können die beiden den Vorbildcharakter der "I declare War" Veranstaltung wahren und setzen dabei vielleicht sogar neue Maßstäbe für den Mixtapesektor!
