DJ Muggs/Cypriss Hill und GZA/Wu-Tang haben nun zusammen ein Kollabo-Album in nur acht Tagen aufgenommen. Die Idee bestand bereits seit 1997 und wird aller voraussicht nach am 25. November unter dem Titel Grandmaster in good old Germany released. Mit dabei RZA, Reakwon, Sen Dog v.a.
DJ Muggs selbst:"It’s a theme album, it’s a movie. Grandmasters comes from being at the top level of your game whether it be MC or DJ. But the record is also a chess theme record, and it’s the highest level you reach as a chess player as well."
Russell Simmons, seineszeichens Hip Hop Mogul und Gründer des Def Jam Imperiums, hat in den U.S.A., mit der SimmonsLathan Media Group den allerersten Hip Hop TV-Sender ins Leben gerufen. DoD, so der Name des Senders, soll am 11.11.05 launchen.

Hip Hop Legende Rev Run hat ja nun auf MTV (noch, nur in den U.S.A.) seine eigene Reality-Serie "Run’s House" alá Osbournes, mit Kind und Kegel. Und diese wird auch von niemand geringeren als Diddy und Run’s Bruder Russell Simmons Co-Produziert. Der Kontrakt wurde erstmal gleich verlängert, da der Reverend nämlich schon nach drei Episoden mitt der Sendung steil ging, #5 in der Top 10 der "Supported Cable Shows".
