Wenn 2Pac noch leben würde…

Auch Game, früher bekannt als The Game, ist nur ein Mensch. Und Menschen träumen und fantasieren. Und so hat der Verträumte sich kurz vor Weihnachten einfach mal vorgestellt, was wäre, wenn Tupac Shakur und Biggie Smalls noch leben würden. Auf seinem Twitter-Account teilte er seinen Followern seine Tagträumereinen mit.  Zuerst sprach er darüber, dass er nicht derselbe Mensch wäre, hätte Tupac nicht auf ihn gewirkt.

"#if2PACwasALIVE I probably wouldn’t be who I am today. his un-timely death is what motivated me to wanna put this sh*t on my back !!!”

Der Westcoast-Rapper gab allerdings anschließend seine Dankbarkeit an Tupacs Erzfeind, den Ostküsten-Rapper Notorious B.I.G, weiter.

“ifBIGwasALIVE nobody would be runnin round talkin bout they the KING OF NYC!!! he was hands down that nigga !!!"

Danach sinnierte Game abwechselnd darüber, dass Biggies Kinder dieses Weihnachten einen Vater und Will Smith keine Frau hätte.

Sein Internetmonolog endete damit, dass er sich vorstellte, wie Tupac einen Oscar bekäme und Twitter benutzen würde.

Aber ein Mensch wie Game hat nicht nur Träume, nein, er hat auch Feinde. Einer seine größten Feinde, so der Rap-Musiker in einem Interview, sei lange Zeit seine Mutter gewesen.

“Me and my moms, we had beef for a long time. When we beef, we beef, man”, sagte der 30-Jährige. Grund für die Streitigkeiten war, dass sie lange Zeit über den Werdegang ihres Sohnes erbost war.

“She always wanted me to do this and do the right thing but I was always fucking up and couldn’t get it right until now.”

Nachdem er ihr jedoch ein Lied widmete und vorspielte, seien nun alle Wogen geglättet.

"I’ll let her hear it on her own — she’ll start crying and shit..(…) She expresses her gratitude — and how happy she is of all my accomplishments…I’m pretty sure she listens to every single records because you never know, she might think I’ll diss her one day so she’ll be locked in waiting for the beef(…)She don’t really comment on my music — but I love my mom to death and she don’t judge me, she don’t judge my music."
