Trevor Smith, den meisten besser bekannt als Busta Rhymes, findet dass das Internet die Menschen "entseelt“. In einer kleinen, sehr amüsanten Videobotschaft klärte der New Yorker Rapper seine Tourbegleiter über das wahre Gesicht von Internet und Computern auf. Dies tat Busta, der ein bisschen betrunken und sehr wütend wirkte, anhand eines schönen Beispiels:
"If me and a nigga in the same room, right, we in the hotel, we on the road. I’m next door to a nigga and we got the door that connects the rooms, so he ain’t gotta go in the hallway to holla at me, knock on the door…Instead of doing that, nigga textin‘ me, who in the room with ‚em. Nigga textin‘ me. Nobody in the room with him.“
Gleich in den nächsten Sätzen erklärte Busta, warum er das Internet nicht mag:
"The computer has made niggas lazy. The computer has made niggas interact less. It’s dehumanizing people, homie. It’s dehumanizing you, that’s all I’m saying. Because now when that same nigga send me a text and I misinterpret what I’m reading because I can’t feel what his real intent was, now I respond fucked up."
Seinen MySpace-Account hat der 37-Jährige, der in weniger als 2 Minuten neun mal das Wort "Nigga“ benutzen kann, übrigens nicht gelöscht.
